In 2015, my bathroom mirror reflected back to me a reality I didn’t want to own. I stood there in an outfit I loved–that I had purchased a few years prior and that fit a bit more snug than I wanted to admit. Budgets and home life had overtaken my internal desire for self-expression. The woman who prided herself on always dressing for her day was stuck in a closet that didn't really fit all that well and was starting to look out of date. Separated from my husband and running the household mostly alone as a homemaker, I had to restart my life.
Fast-forward through years of grit, self-reflection, and following God’s impressions on my heart on the journey to restart my life.
Varenne clothing boutique has actualized the full expression of my life journey. Of all the jobs and careers I worked before becoming a stay-at-home mom, hands-down my favorite was my career helping women find your style while managing a multi-million dollar clothing store in one of the busiest malls in Texas. It wasn’t the most prestigious of my jobs, but it was definitely my favorite! It’s the one career when I really felt alive.
What excited me most was getting to talk with women every single day and playing with clothes to find your style. And I love it still today! Each of you I meet shares with me parts of your life. I've helped some of you choose clothes for a funeral and others a brunch dress. We’ve talked about body image and how something fits or makes you feel. I’ve even met whole families–mothers, daughters, and even grandmothers!
Serving you is what lights me up about Varenne! I’m striving to make Varenne clothing boutique more than just a clothing store. At Varenne, we love to connect with you - your heart, your life, your closet. I can’t wait to help you find your style that feels authentic and unique and build a wardrobe that leaves you feeling confident and comfortable to walk in boldness in all aspects of your life.
