California Residents: Proposition 65

The following is a notice for residents of California regarding Proposition 65 passed in 1986:

California's Proposition 65 entitles California consumers to special warnings for products that contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm if those products expose consumers to such chemicals above certain threshold levels. Since many of our manufacturers base their corporate offices in the Los Angeles fashion district or transit their products into the U.S. via shipping through the Port of Los Angeles, you may notice warning labels on some of our products. We are required to notify you that some of our products such as handbags, purses, clutches, shoes, jewelry, or clothing have the potential to contain traces of one of these chemicals, such as the possibility of lead contained in some vinyl leather products. In accordance with Proposition 65, we issue the following warning to our California customers: Some items on our site may contain chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm and may be included on the Proposition 65 chemical list.
